Glass-Jones Wedding Reception at Boatwerks

Kaylee Glass and Adam Jones held their wedding reception at Boatwerks on September 28, 2019. The memories from this beautiful event were captured by Katie Grace Photography. From their wedding cake made by Nothing Bundt Cakes in Grand Rapids, to the beautiful floral arrangements provided by Creative Events, and the added ambiance created by their DJ Brad Eley of Michigan Pro DJs, Kaylee and Adam’s reception was a truly memorable event. The reception was held at Boatwerks in Holland, in the Black River Ballroom with the Courtyard add-on. 126 of the couple’s family and friends were in attendance at the reception to celebrate their big day. Every detail seemed to be perfectly curated by the newlyweds, down to the Jones soda wedding favors as a fun, ode to the “Jones” last name.

The couple made use of our excellent restaurant services at Boatwerks, choosing a custom menu to be created for them. For appetizers, guests enjoyed cheese platters, spinach and artichoke dip, fruit, and meatballs were served. Plated meals included delicious spinach and artichoke rolled chicken breast with garlic cream sauce, asparagus, and mashed potatoes.

The bride and groom were able to have their own meals customized further. They did not like salad so when everyone else got salad before their meal, the bride and room were served a plate of appetizers. They left this review: “Gorgeous Venue & Delicious Food! The perfect weather made the venue shine with the awesome flow of inside/outside dancing and patio area, the doors opening up to a second outside bar, patio lighting, yard games, and outside fire.
